Breaking the cycle. Creating space to Thrive.

Welcome to Bloom & Thrive.
Here we support individuals who feel stuck in repetitive behavioural cycles such as anxiety, burnout, avoidance, and numbing habits. Our goals are to provide compassionate, accessible support, for individuals who may be either waiting for public therapy resources to become available, are priced out of private therapy fees, or are simply wanting help to quickly and gently break a cycle without entering full therapy.
Bloom & Thrive is a non-clinical online mental health coaching service that supports individuals using evidence-based techniques, who may feel stuck in repetitive behavioural cycles or feel they are living in survival mode. Whether it shows up as anxiety, low-mood, burnout, avoidance, or numbing habits, we understand how easily people can feel stuck in patterns with no way out.

About Bloom & Thrive.

Bloom & Thrive's Framework
A calm path out of the cycle.
01
Awareness – Understanding the Pattern
We begin by slowing things down.
Together, we explore the emotional and behavioural cycles you’re caught in, understanding how they developed and what they’ve been trying to protect you from. This reduces shame and creates space for change.
You are not failing, your system has been coping.
02
Emotional Regulation - Restoring Steadiness
Change is difficult when the nervous system is overwhelmed.
We focus on grounding, emotional regulation, and reducing constant internal pressure. As steadiness returns, anxiety softens and urges to avoid or numb often lessen naturally.
You don’t need to push harder, you need more steadiness.
03
Intentional Choices – Gently Changing Patterns
With more stability, change becomes possible.
This stage supports:
-
Reducing reliance on unhelpful coping habits
-
Approaching procrastination with compassion rather than force
-
Strengthening boundaries and communication
-
Rebuilding motivation and self‑trust
04
Integration – Living Beyond Survival Mode
Finally, we focus on maintaining balance and preventing future overwhelm.
This includes recognizing early signs of overload, protecting your energy, and building a life that supports your wellbeing, not just your productivity.

Our Approach
At Bloom & Thrive, we work collaboratively, using a mix of evidence-informed tools tailored to your needs, so each session feels supportive, practical, and focused on what matters to you.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBT-informed): Helps you notice the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and gently explore new ways to respond.
-
Acceptance & Commitment Approaches (ACT-informed): Supports accepting difficult emotions while clarifying your values and taking meaningful action.
-
Motivational Interviewing (MI): Encourages reflection and self-directed change without pressure or judgement.
-
Positive Psychology: Focuses on strengths, resilience, and what’s already working in your life, helping you feel capable and hopeful.
-
Behavioral Cycle Mapping: Recognizing patterns of avoidance, shutdown, or procrastination. This increases self-awareness and reduces maladaptive patterns.

Meet the Founder
Welcome!
My name is Alize Marsh, and I’m so glad you’re here.
A little about me is that I hold a degree in psychology and two professional certifications in mental health coaching, and I’m currently working toward a PhD in Counseling Psychology. I practice in a compassionate, non-clinical way, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Most importantly, I know what it’s like to feel stuck and in need of support, only to face long waiting lists or unaffordable private therapy. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how isolating things can feel when help is out of reach. This is what has inspired me to create something that is easily accessible, affordable, and truly focus on support tailored to YOU.
That’s why I founded Bloom & Thrive; a calm, reliable space where you can feel understood, restore emotional steadiness, and gently begin breaking patterns that no longer serve you.
We appreciate you being here and Thank you for trusting this journey and for supporting what we stand for.
